ABOUT US

The club has members regularly taking part in road racing and time trialling throughout the racing season.

We also have regular Sunday morning runs throughout the winter months, generally around the Cheshire Lanes (check out our "Pedalling the Cheshire Lanes" photo gallery) & averaging 60-70 miles. Meet is at the mini island in Culcheth, at the end of Holcroft Lane at 9am.

Members also take part in Cyclo Cross,
& organise club "mountain bike days", "track nights" and "weekends away".

The club has a good social side, and we have a club night on the second Thursday in the month, from 8-30pm, at the new "Leigh Sport's Village".

The club was founded in 1964 and recently celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2004.

If you are keen to take up the sport, coming back into the sport, moving into the area, or simply wish to develop your abilities, hopefully we have something for you.

If you are a novice, members will be
glad to advise you on bicycles, equipment, training and all cycling matters.
